Subang: Firefly has deferred the commencement of its newest route between Subang and Hat Yai following a series of bomb attacks in Yala and Hat Yai district in Songkhla, Thailand, on Saturday.
This route was originally scheduled to commence on May 2.
COO Shorthaul Malaysia Airlines/ Firefly, Ignatius M.C. Ong, said: “Our passengers’ safety is our top priority. We will postpone commencement of these flights until we think it is safe to fly. We will make an announcement of a new commencement date when the situation in Hat Yai is back to normal.”
