Kota Kinabalu – Laughter and giggles resonated from Bukit Harapan today as the residents were treated to a morning of fun and games by the fun-loving staff of Firefly.
Firefly’s visit was held in conjunction with the launch of Firefly’s twice daily return flights from Johor Bahru – Kota Kinabalu a day earlier, thus improving air connectivity between East and West Malaysia.
Interactive games such as musical chairs, passing the ball and colouring contests kept residents happily preoccupied and a strong bond developed in a very short space of time between the residents and their guests.
Happy children with new toys from Firefly
Firefly also presented reading materials, sports equipment and toys for sensory stimulation as gifts to the residents. The morning visit ended with a hearty brunch.
Firefly celebrated its entrance into Sabah today, 24 January, to mark the introduction of an additional third daily flight to between Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu with seats priced at the lowest fares. To enjoy these lowest fares, passengers would have to book their seats early.

Every time we launch a new route, we always make it a point to include children and the less fortunate in our programme. We always have a special session with them. I am always touched by their warmth and friendliness.”
