Travel Advisory:
1. Passengers travelling during MCO period must obtain relevant approvals from authorities such as the police before purchasing or boarding the flight
2. All Firefly passengers SHALL BE REQUIRED to wear face mask in airports and on board flights effective from 23rd April 2020.
3. Effective immediately, all airlines under the Malaysia Aviation Group – Malaysia Airlines, MASwings and Firefly, will comply to the latest regulation as gazetted by the Federal Government of Malaysia on total number of passengers allowed to be carried onboard. As such, Firefly Airlines will endeavour to contact passengers prior to their flights for further arrangements.

Firefly Airlines Enforces Use of Face Masks on Passengers

In mitigating the spread of COVID-19, Firefly Airlines requires all passengers to bring and wear their own protective masks at the following touch points effective 23 April 2020:

  1. Check-in
  2. Boarding
  3. In the aircraft cabin
  4. Disembarkation
  5. Collection of baggage on arrival

This requirement applies to all passengers (excluding infant) travelling on all firefly Airlines’ domestic, international and charter flights, to ensure the comfort and well being of each passenger and airline employee.

Firefly Airlines will not accept passengers that do not have/wear a face mask at the time of check-in and boarding. 

For passengers’ own comfort, you are advised to bring additional masks and hand sanitizers for your own use.  Passengers are also reminded to respect the personal space of others and observe social distancing where required and to comply with other safety measures in our pre-departure and arrival processes to ensure you have a safe journey.  

The safety of its passengers and staff is of utmost importance to Firefly Airlines.
