Social Networking Gets Local: Firefly is the first company in Malaysia with a Foursquare page

Firefly, Your Community Airline announced today that it is the first company in Malaysia and the second airline in the world to have a page on Foursquare, the location-based social network. The Firefly page enables travellers to discover useful travel tips near their airports or destinations, such as WiFi spots they can use while they wait for their flight or good restaurants to grab a bite.

Firefly gives FREE return tickets to Sabah and Sarawak at Monsoon Cup 2010

Community Airline will be rewarding two return tickets to its newly announced routes in Sabah & Sarawak, to the daily highest spenders at the sponsors’ exhibition, held in conjunction with The World Match Racing Tour’s (WMRT) season ending finale, the Monsoon Cup 2010. The event which will be from 1-5 Dec at Pulau Duyong, Kuala Terengganu was officiated by Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia today.
