Hotel Bookings with Firefly Holidays

Firefly, Malaysia’s first community airline, is adding another feature to their services, Firefly Holidays. Now the public can book their flights and hotel accommodation at the Firefly website, all under one roof.

Since the start of operations in April this year, the airline began its service of point to point travel out of its hub in Penang, catering to the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia as well as to two top destinations in Thailand – Phuket and Koh Samui. Since then, Firefly has soared to greater heights when they announced their new hub in Subang with Penang as the start-off destination.

Last week, the airline extended their services from Subang offering flights to Kota Bharu and Langkawi beginning 17 November 2007. Ideal in the eyes of many, the move is in line with Firefly’s plan in connecting communities throughout the region. With the convenient location of the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, settlers throughout the Klang Valley now have the option of travelling whilst saving time and cost all at the same time.

There are options of accommodation available not only at all Firefly destinations but also at other popular destinations such as Cameron Highlands, Lumut and Malacca in Malaysia, and Bangkok, Phang Nga and Chiang Mai in Thailand. Reservations can also be made at travel agents registered with Firefly, selected Malaysia Airlines Ticketing offices, and appointed airline marketing representatives in Phuket and Koh Samui.
