IMPORTANT NOTICE: As a directive issued by the Thailand Airport Authority, Koh Samui International Airport has increased its Airport Tax from THB600 to THB700. The directive is for all passengers travelling on and after 1 Jun 2015 to Koh Samui.

In order to avoid inconvenience at the airport check-in counters, passengers have been asked to update their differential payment via Manage Booking or by calling 03-78454543.

Firefly’s operations to Koh Samui is back to normal

Subang - Firefly, Your Community Airline, has issued a statement today that its operations between Koh Samui and Subang, is back to normal with on-time performance rate of 95%, after the recent closure of Koh Samui Airport due to severe flood condition.

Head of Marketing & Communications, Ms.Angelina Fernandez said, “We are glad to note that operations between Subang and Koh Samui were back as scheduled immediately upon notification from airport authorities on the opening of the said airport. During this period, Firefly mounted an extra flight, rescuing stranded passengers to ensure that they arrive at their intended destination, considering their safety and comfort at all times”.

“We understand the inconvenient situation of these passengers and would like convey our sincere appreciation to them for being very patient and co-operative throughout the unavoidable situation,” she added.

Firefly operates between its hub in Subang and Koh Samui, seven times a week, offering special Firefly tickets promotion and holiday packages to this serene destination that caters for all travellers or honeymooners seeking for some fun and quality time.
