Travelling between KLIA and KL Sentral gets easier through Firefly’s collaboration with Airport Coach

Subang - Firefly has collaborated with Airport Coach Sdn Bhd to provide its passengers with convenient coach services between KL Sentral Bus Station and Kuala Lumpur International Airport main terminal building.

Due to this collaboration, Firefly passengers can now purchase Airport Coach bus tickets when they make their flight bookings from Firefly’s website

Firefly’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Ms Angelina C Fernandez, elaborated: “We have made it very convenient for passengers as they can purchase bus tickets for one way or return trip when they make their flight bookings. These online purchases will be shown on the same flight itinerary which can then be printed out or saved in a mobile device and later shown to the Airport Coach personnel as proof of purchase before boarding the bus.

“Due to this collaboration, Airport Coach has also agreed to extend its bus service operations on this KL Sentral – KLIA route to 24 hours, every day.

“This is good news for passengers as it means services are always available, no matter how early or how late our flights arrives/ departs from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

“The express bus services between KLIA main terminal building and KL Sentral are very affordable at only RM10 per adult each way and RM6 per child each way for ages six and below.

“The savings is substantial. More so, when you compare these rates to taxi fares during peak hours, late nights and early mornings.”

About Airport Coach

Airport Coach started operations on 28 June 1998 to provide bus services between Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Hentian Duta in Kuala Lumpur and transportation to city hotels in Kuala Lumpur.

There are nine Airport Coach express buses plying the hour long journey between KL Sentral and KLIA Main Terminal building.

The Airport Coach services are every 30 minutes from 5am to 12.30am and every hour from 1am to 5am. The schedule can be viewed at Airport Coach bus ticket counters are located at:

Background on Firefly
