Spending RM20,540 on a holiday package from Firefly Holiday really paid off for Wong Yin Chong who walked away today with a Firefly Family Gift Set worth RM12,000. He was Firefly Holiday’s overall top spender at the recent MATTA Fair in Kuala Lumpur held last month. He spent a total of RM20,450 on travel packages to Koh Samui for a group of 14.
The family gift set comprises two return tickets to Bangkok on Malaysia Airlines, four tickets to Koh Samui, a two day/ one night hotel stay at Le Méridien Koh Samui Hotel & Spa courtesy of Firefly Holiday, two limited edition Firefly Jet aircraft models, Johor Premium Outlets vouchers worth RM400, two Santa Barbara travel bags compliments of AmBank and BHP fuel vouchers worth RM100 from BHPetrol.
Wong said: “I was surprised to receive a phone call from Firefly staff last week informing me of my winnings. The plan is to treat the family to a holiday in Thailand and use this opportunity to spend quality time with them. Thank you, Firefly.”
The highest daily spenders, Yap Phei Yee and Melvin Chong, each received two return flight tickets to Saigon and Jakarta respectively on Malaysia Airlines, valued at RM14,000.
Firefly’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Angelina C Fernandez said: “We had been participating annually at MATTA Fair since 2008 and we look forward to seeing repeat and new visitors at the fair next year. Rest assured, we will have different treats every year. This year, we gave away prizes worth a total of RM130,000 to walk-in customers who made purchases worth RM500 and above.”

Background on Firefly
