Firefly Offers 150,000 Free Seats at MATF 2008
Firefly, Malaysia’s first community airline and subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines System, is making its debut appearance in the 5th Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair 2008 (MATF 2008), from 22 to 24 February 2008 at KL Convention Centre. Other MATF 2008 venues that Firefly is participating are in Terengganu Trade Centre, Kuala Terengganu and Penang International Sports Arena (PISA), Penang on the same exciting 3 days event.
Firefly now operates from Subang and Penang, as Subang being the hub for central region and Penang serves as the northern region’s hub. Currently Firefly covers domestic routes to Subang, Penang, Kuantan, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Bharu and Langkawi in Malaysia, and regional routes to Phuket and Koh Samui in Thailand.

- We are offering a promotional rate of RM8.88 who buy online, through our Call Centre, Subang ticketing counter, Penang Sales Office and selected MAS ticketing offices

- Booking period is only from 22 to 24 February 2008
- Traveling period is from 25 February to 25 October 2008
- Majority of the free tickets are for immediate traveling period from March to June 2008
- Free tickets offered are available on-site only
Offer 2: Firefly Holiday
- For the very first time, Firefly Holiday packages are offered for sale to public in this MATF 2008
- At very low prices, Firefly Holiday is offering combined packages of flight and hotel to various destinations such as KL, Penang, Langkawi, Kuantan, Terengganu, Kota Bharu, the islands off the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia as well as to Phuket and Koh Samui
- A variety of packages on sale are for instance the Free & Easy, Family (package for 4), Honeymoon, as well as Snorkeling and Dive packages
- Prices ranging from as low as RM19 for domestic packages and less than RM200 for regional packages to Phuket and Koh Samui
