Firefly meets Hari Raya demand for extra flights

Subang - Firefly, Your Community Airline, will mount two additional flights between Subang - Medan - Subang on August 28 and August 29 and four additional flights between Subang - Kota Bharu - Subang on September 3 and September 4 to meet the high demand of travellers returning from their Hari Raya festive holidays.

Firefly currently operates a daily flight on the Subang - Medan - Subang route, and seven flights daily on the Subang-Kota Bharu - Subang route, utilising its 72 seater, ATR72-500 turboprops.

Firefly’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Angelina C Fernandez, said: “Demand for travel on these routes have increased tremendously during this Hari Raya festive period where Muslims and non-Muslims alike will travel to reunite with their loved ones or take opportunity of the long break to travel domestically. We look forward to flying all passengers safely to their destination, be it for a special reunion with family and friends or for a leisure holiday.
