Firefly launches RM19 sale!

Subang - Firefly, Your Community Airline, launched a “Just Pay This To Fly” campaign featuring RM19 seats, marking it as one of its ‘Big Sale’ this year. To celebrate its encouraging growth in the industry, Firefly has decided to reward the community with promotion fare as a token of appreciation for making Firefly its preferred airline.
From today to February 19, seats priced as low as RM19 all-in, one-way to its domestic destinations go on sale with an extensive travel period that starts from 19 March to 27 October 2012.
According to Firefly’s COO Short Haul Operations Malaysia Airlines/Firefly, Mr.Ignatius Ong, “This promotion campaign is intended for those planning a quick get-away from a hectic routine and those planning their school holidays in June and August. We believe this will be a perfect opportunity for local and foreign tourists alike to explore the wonderful attractions that Malaysia has to offer, especially the varied cultures, fascinating heritage, serene islands and of course various kinds of food!”
Fares priced at RM19 all-in, one-way are essentially zero fares with minimal admin fee of RM10 and airport tax of RM9, which is collected by the airport authorities.
Ong also took the opportunity to remind passengers: “Our passengers will enjoy premium service with a smile. We’re committed to offering value to our passengers which includes free 20kg of checked baggage allowance, complimentary refreshments and the convenience of flying from Subang, Kuala Lumpur’s city airport.”
The RM19 promotion includes popular holiday hotspots such as Penang, Langkawi, Kuala Terengganu, Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Kuantan and Alor Setar. The sale also includes local Firefly destinations from Penang International airport.
The RM19 all-in, one-way promotional fare can only be booked online. The response to the sale, which kicked off today, has been most encouraging, whereby more than 60% of this morning’s booking were in favour of this promotion.

Background on Firefly
