Firefly launches new City Ticketing Office in Johor Bahru city centre

JOHOR BAHRU - Firefly, Your Community Airline, had launched its City Ticketing Office today. This is Firefly’s fourth ticketing office locally and the first in the state of Johor. Strategically located at Persada Johor International Convention Centre in the heart of Johor Bahru city, Firefly’s City Ticketing Office will offer travellers the convenience of making and amending flight bookings on Firefly and purchasing Firefly Holiday products.

Firefly’s Head of Marketing & Communications, Ms Angelina Corrina Fernandez, said: “Our convenient location will also assist us to better service travel agencies, companies and government agencies. The office is equipped with a meeting room and a comfortable waiting area for our customers who wish to purchase or make flight changes.

“Besides offering our Jet passengers guaranteed lowest fares and aerobridge facilities at all the airports we fly to, we also give them the option of making further savings through our Standard and Premium sets of services. They can choose to add on to the cost of the ticket, the price of in-flight meals, seat selection, checked-baggage fees and more. We thus empower them to determine how much they should pay.

“We always keep the passengers best interests in mind. We never tire of advising them to purchase sufficient checked-in baggage allowance before they fly, as excess baggage can cost up to a whopping RM40 per kg.

“We chose to be located within Persada as this is an international convention centre which attracts events all year-round and we wanted to be accessible to meeting and event delegates who are also looking for someone to service them with their flight arrangements. The strategic location of Persada, at the heart of the city centre, will also attract walk-in customers. We have two friendly staff at our Firefly counters which are open six days a week.”

Firefly’s City Ticketing Office on the Mezzanine Floor of Persada Johor International Convention Centre is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm from Mondays to Fridays, and from 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturdays.
